Homework Due Nov. 6th

Is there a certain situation where you definatally use lead control or definatally know to use lag controll?
United States
Yes, lead control always adds phase to the system while lag control always subtracts phase. So if your controller must add phase, use lead control, while if your controller must subtract phase, use lag. However, in reality, theres not much difference in how we actually design the controller (determine how much phase must be contributed, and then locate the pole/zero to make it so).
Since there are no HW solutions posted up.... I'm assuming there is no quiz? Oh well, time will tell. Mr. T says, "I pity da foo be given Monday quizzes with no Friday solutions. He gets the hammer, the cold steel, no lag, no lead." lol
